Description

ELVEM produces totally enclosed three-phase and single-phase squirrel-cage induction brake motors D.C.; series AT-trhree-phase and series AM-single-phase.
Series consists in 7 shaft heights: from 63 till 132 mm. For three-phase and from 63 till 100 for single-phase.
Electric brake motors are manufactured as single-speed and change-pole motors (by special request motors could also be made with more rotation speed).
The order of power series for single speed motors is in accordance with DIN 42673.
Electric Brake Motors are intended for use in various applications and their basic characteristics are as follow:

• European voltage 400 V. ±10% for three-phase brake motors and 230 V. ±5% for single-phase brake motors
• high level of economics characteristics
• high efficency and high power factor cos φ
• high level of ecological characteristics, low noise level, lot beneath the allowable values, according to IEC 34-9 Recommendation, DIN-VDE-0530 Regulation respectively
• the most modern design in Europe
• adaptability to various requirements of electromotor drivers-voltage, frequency, form, mechanical protection
• insulation system Class F - temperature rise in class B
• safety in operation
• simple maintenance
